The Echternhagen industrial estate in Kalletal has been the address for tailor-made vacuum technology \u201eMade in Germany\u201c for decades. Long before the area had developed into a sought-after industrial estate, Me\u00dfner GmbH & Co. KG settled here in 1975. The location is still established today as a specialist and partner of the packaging machine industry in over 40 countries. Quality and reliability are expressed among other things in the 100% testing of all products.<\/p>\n

The family-run company was founded in 1970 by Ernst-G\u00fcnter Me\u00dfner, who initially concentrated on trading in industrial supplies. Shortly thereafter, the company produced its own special valves and pumps for special machines. The associated expansion of the business made it necessary to relocate to the Echternhagen industrial estate in 1975. A production and administration building was erected there.<\/p>\n

In 1976 the first generation of vacuum solenoid valves went into series production – developed and produced in Kalletal. The valves are used almost exclusively in packaging machines. In 1983 the second generation of valves prevailed. Close development cooperation has since allowed our customers to achieve a particularly high level of integration.<\/p>\n

An absolute recipe for success is the modular construction principle with a multitude of design options. In 1992 the now third and trendsetting generation of solenoid valves in series production. In 1978, the company started parallel with the first generation of vacuum cylinders, which was then replaced in 1986 by a completely redesigned series. New designs and sizes expand the product range.<\/p>\n

As a specialist for vacuum technology, we have for many years achieved high quantities in all product groups. On this basis, we rationalize our products in terms of quality and costs and thus achieve an exceptional price-performance ratio. We design, as a rule together with our customers, solutions and complete systems and thus create real added value for the packaging machine industry.<\/p>\n

Today, the company is managed in the second generation by the siblings Claudia and Michael Me\u00dfner and employs more than 30 people at the Kalletal site. The majority of them work in production, where the experience and knowledge gained over more than 40 years flow directly into the quality of Me\u00dfner products.
